Loving Local Businesses with Nacho House
As a small business ourselves, we’re grateful to have so many local places to go to in our community. With amazing restaurants, unique stores, and all sorts of coffee shops to visit, there’s no shortage of ways to give back to our community by shopping small.
We wanted to share the love this month for local businesses that our patients love, so we asked you to nominate your favorite small businesses around town that deserved some attention.
Imagine our surprise when we got several nominations for just one place!
Family-Owned and Home Grown
Many of you nominated Nacho House in North Salt Lake City and told us all about their great Mexican food – even Dr. Redford, who lives nearby, told us that we wouldn’t be disappointed. To see what all the fuss was about, we decided to pay them a visit ourselves.
Owner Mario is a Mexico native who moved to the city with his family, including his son Will, who manages the busy lunch and dinner crowds. From the moment we sat down to the moment we walked out the door, we were treated as part of that family.
Isela, our server, was incredibly attentive and made sure our drinks were never lower than half for our entire meal. All of us got horchata, and if you’ve never had it before, I have to recommend Nacho House’s horchata. Delicious!
All our food came out fast and piping hot. Isela recommended to us some of the best food for our preferences and wore oven mitts to deliver the food to us since it came straight out of the oven!
Claudia and I both had the white burritos, which Claudia described very accurately as an amazing mouth experience. Jayden went for the house chimis and didn’t realize that food could make him look at life so beautifully. Dr. Redford recommends the bacon-wrapped chicken chimi, which, in her words “made her as happy as her first-born child.”
We had a truly delicious experience at Nacho House and were proud to present them with their certificate of approval from our patients.
Supporting Local Passions and Businesses
Giving back to our local community is in our DNA.
Supporting fellow local businesses ensures that we as business owners can all help each other maintain the passions we work hard for each day.
Restaurants and other public spaces can sometimes be overwhelming for those with hearing challenges.
If you find that you’re struggling to keep up in busy and loud environments, we encourage you to get in touch with us via a callback or over the phone at (801) 298-HEAR (4327).
