Harnessing Your Hearing Aids’ Potential: How to Take Charge in Conference Calls

by | Apr 15, 2024 | Hearing Aids, Patient Resources

More and more hardworking professionals need hearing assistance these days—it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Many individuals are realizing the power of hearing care and how it can improve both their personal lives and their professional lives.

Hearing aids not only improve your hearing, but they can make your memory better, keep you steady on your feet, and help you perform better in your work. Imagine wowing your coworkers with quick commentary during conference calls, thanks to the power of your hearing aids!

Whenever a patient in the workforce asks us how to best use their hearing aids with their smart devices, we always tell them it’s remarkably easy to connect your devices together to boost your productivity.

If you’ve read this far, then perhaps you’re curious too!

How Can I Connect My Hearing Aids to My Computer?

Many hearing aids these days come with Bluetooth compatibility, and connecting your Bluetooth-enabled smart device to your hearing aids just requires a few buttons clicked. Simply go to your smart device’s Bluetooth menu, find your hearing aids, and click connect.

(Of course, this may differ between different hearing aid models. Make sure to ask your hearing aid provider if you have any questions!)

For older hearing aid models that don’t have Bluetooth capabilities, there’s typically a cable that comes with the hearing aids to connect to your computer, like wired headphones. However, these cables aren’t as widespread anymore due to Bluetooth connections.

Whether your job is based at home or in the office, hearing aids and hearing care can help you stay working hard for longer, no matter your profession.

Hearing aids provide far more than just connecting to your smart devices for conference calls. Stay safe on your morning commute through being able to hear the noises of traffic, keep in the loop with coworker conversations, and get your work done faster by understanding the instructions on the first listen.

With the assistance of hearing aids and hearing care, you’ll be working smarter, harder, and for longer than ever. Get the most out of your professional life and delay your retirement, making sure you’re continuing to work through the life that you love for as long as you can.
