Signia Hearing Aids

The founder of Signia, Werner von Siemens, produced an amplified telephone receiver in Singapore in 1877, establishing the foundation of a company that would develop and release its first line of hearing aids in 1910. Today, Signia is among the world’s leaders of hearing aid manufacturing, producing one out of every four hearing aids used worldwide.

In partnership with Siemens at the start of the 21st century, Signia returned to independent status within the Sivantos Group until the 2019 Sivantos-Widex merger established WS Audiology. In affiliation with WS Audiology, Signia became one of the new brand names for Siemens hearing instruments.

“Take life in stride,” Signia’s motto, is at the heart of their commitment to provide stylish and discreet hearing wear without sacrificing performance. Their BTE and ITC devices feature sophisticated form, graceful lines, a refined fit, and a true-to-life hearing experience that are a great fit for those who enjoy a highly active and independent lifestyle.

Sound Processing by Signia

Signia’s OVP platform allows hearing aid users to delight in the better sound quality and speech clarity delivered by acoustic motion sensors capable of producing a more natural hearing experience. Improved speech understanding involves the use of a live deep neural network and continuously learning AI that adapts to your individual needs as you move from one listening environment to another.

Since speech and background noise are processed separately, and then recombined, Signia hearing aids deliver outstanding speech clarity in a fully immersive soundscape while reducing echoes and feedback in reverberant environments and making your own voice sound more natural.
