Utah Ear Institute in the Community

At Utah Ear Institute, we are passionate about the places in which we work and live.

We take great pride in being an active part of the community in Bountiful, and love taking the time to support local organizations.

Dr. Luekenga is passionate about Bountiful and all that it has to offer. As a resident himself, he has received so much from this community that he strives to give back whenever possible.

He has found joy in coaching machine-pitch baseball for his 5-year-old son Oliver and his friends. For Dr. Luekenga, witnessing the children learn and develop their love for the game is one of the best parts of being not just a volunteer coach, but also a dad.

As well as coaching, Dr. Luekenga also sponsors the team, helping the team to purchase uniforms for the players. He takes pride in being able to give back to the community that has given him and his family so much.

Utah Ear Institute proudly sponsor Muir Elementary School, Mueller Park Jr. High School, along with Bountiful High School, to support education in our community.

The Utah Ear Institute logo is featured on Muir Elementary’s school shirts and, by partnering with these schools, we invest in the future of our community as well as being able to make a positive impact on the lives of our young people.

It’s important that everyone in our community feels like they are a part of it. We can only do this by not just being involved, but also by involving them.

The July Handcart parade is one of Bountiful’s best traditions for family and community gatherings.

What an honor it was for Dr Luekenga, his wife, Amanda and their family, to dress as our pioneer ancestors and pull a hand cart to remember their sacrifices in establishing Utah as “the right place” for Mormon Pioneers!
